Antique French Mattress Ticking

Some of the ticking we use dates back to the mid 1800’s. Fabrics of this age are distinguished by the colour graduating within the stripe, aswell as from one stripe to the next. Some of our bolder tickings are much later in date (up to the 1950’s), but still have the unique texture of antique linen.

The Large Weekender
 

Trimmed with chocolate Brown Italian leather for base, handles and frame covering.

100% cotton ticking lining. 1 Interior patch pocket for mobile phone, pen, wallet. 1 large pocket divider creating 1 separate compartment inside the bag.

Frame closure with signature ‘leather barrel’ clasp.

‘Wolf’ coloured webbing, cross-body strap, adjustable and removable. Fastened to solid brass ‘D’ rings.

Antique Brass feet on hard base.
